Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
Combining the neuroplasticity-enhancing power of low-dose ketamine with dedicated, licensed psychotherapy to unlock deep emotional breakthroughs and lasting healing.
What is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?
KAP is a specialized therapeutic modality where low-dose ketamine is administered under medical supervision alongside active guidance from a licensed psychotherapist.
Ketamine temporarily softens rigid psychological defenses and default mode network (DMN) rumination, allowing patients to approach deep-seated trauma, grief, and depression without overwhelming fear or panic.
Preparation Sessions
You meet with your therapist to build trust, set intentions, and establish coping strategies before dosing.
Ketamine Dosing Session
During the medicine experience, your therapist remains present in the room to hold space, offer grounding, and facilitate real-time exploration.
Integration Sessions
In the days following treatment, you work with your therapist to integrate insights gained into long-term behavioral changes.
